Goodreads Organization

Okay, so I am going to be through how I organize my goodreads account. I will be explaining my current shelves and some that I am planing and/or thinking about adding into my system.

First, what I currently have going on. For the first part of my bookshelves, I have like everyone else the all shelf and the read shelf. And as I am writing this post, I only have one book on my currently reading, but that number really depends on me.

How I have the next few shelves may be different. My TBR shelf, is really different than others, because for the most part, about half of the books aren't even out and some were placed there when they weren't out. I really want to organize these post so that I can half it are to be released and books that are released. I am going to have to wait before I do this though. Maybe over my break perhaps?

The next shelf is my DNF shelf. DNF if you don't know, stands for Do Not Finish. Which is pretty straight forward, I am basically putting the books I can't put myself into finishing for whatever reason.

And then there is the shelf labeled pick for me. I keep this shelf updated, for the reading thing that takes place on goodreads. Basically, you link a shelf and someone picks a book on the shelf for you to read, and you do the same for someone else.

Now after those shelves, I have my 2015, 2016, and 2017 shelves. I organized the books I've read in most recent years, by how many books I read every year. It is just a more easy way to see how I did with my goodreads reading challenges.

And finally I keep a shelf called rereads, which is where I put the books I have reread. It is literally the most straightforward shelf.
