My Thoughts (Spoilers)

Okay, when I first started reading this book I was kind of just interested in seeing what happens with the witches, because when I heard about this book, it was always mentioned that it was about witches and that is always something that draws me in. Because it seems that no matter what witches are fun, however this book is so much more than that.

I found that at the beginning from what I heard from the novel, I wasn't expecting much, I was just wanting to see what was going to happen. To be honest one of my favourite parts of the book was when we would be trying to figure out who was possessed by the sisters and how to stop them from murdering boys.

I really appreciated seeing Bo's backstory. For a good part of the novel, you figure out pretty fast that there is a reason why he choice that town to go to, because from what you heard there is going to be a reason other then what he gives. And when you find out that his brother was taken, and drowned everything made sense.

Penny, I thought she was being possessed when it was said that she woke up with the taste of salt water in her mouth and I complete put it aside since she didn't do anything with it and it was right. I just love seeing her revealing it and everything.

This book was just a surprise for me, because I had very low expectations. So here it is for finding impressive reads.

“Love is an enchantress—devious and wild. It sneaks up behind you, soft and gentle and quiet, just before it slits your throat.”

“We wait for death. We hold our breath. We know it's coming, and still we flinch when it claws at our throats and pulls us under.”

“There are legends of mermaids who fall in love with sailors, their devotion granting them a human form. I read about the Irish tales of selkies shedding their sealskins, marrying a human man, and staying on land forever.”
