My Thoughts (Spoilers)

This was suppose to do this post awhile ago, but guess what, I suck at keeping up with multiple things at the same time. I was planning on putting up a review for all three books in this trilogy, since I don't have that on this blog.

Anyways back to the book, Rick Riordan brings back pretty much the roots of his Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, through the humour and the chapter titles. And that is probably why this story's got so popular throughout the course of these books being published.

Starting off with our main character Magnus, we get an introduction to a new kind of mythology, Norse mythology. I have to say, Magnus not being the son of one of the 'main' gods, is something I haven't seen yet in the few books I have read featuring Norse mythology.

Anyways, Magnus was such a hilarious character who, really didn't understand what was going on. And I found it interesting to see the similarities between him and Annabeth, since they are cousins. I also really liked his development with his powers and his confidences towards the situation.

Sam would have to be my favourite character. I loved how Rick had her religion be something that was so normalize and how there are demigods who do have their godly parent, but can still have religion as a part in their day to day life. I also really love how badass Sam is, and how she has her priorities and everything.
